4 dead in Romania bus accident

Bucharest, Romania (madnews) -- At least four people died and many were injured after a bus overturned in eastern Romania on Thursday, government officials said.
The incident took place near Tulcea as the bus was transporting workers to an industrial area. The accident occurred as heavy rains exacerbated already poor road conditions.
Authorities said 57 people were transported to a local hospital and four of that number died. Badly injured people who need emergency surgeries were being flown to Bucharest.
One official said that the bus had 45 seats but was packed with about 65 people.

Daniela Condrea, a local police spokeswoman, said that the bus was traveling on a secondary road because of rehabilitation work on a main road.
